Consisting of two adjoining stone cottages, outbuildings and a car park next to the Crown Hotel at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, our Dales headquarters offer comfortable low cost accommodation for members, their guests, and recognised caving/climbing clubs in the heart of the Three Peaks caving area of North Yorkshire.
Riverside Cottage is a self-contained unit sleeping seven and is ideal for a family or small group.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, shower room and a lounge with open coal fire to supplement the oil fired central heating.

Riverside cottage is available for use only by members and their guests and must be booked in advance via the Cottage Warden.
Ivy Cottage provides hostel-style accommodation and has recently been refurbished to a high standard with a large well equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room, shower room and two dormitories with bunk style beds; The property has oil fired central heating throughout. Ivy cottage may be used at any time by members without prior booking.
University and other recognised caving/climbing clubs MUST contact the Cottage Warden for availability and booking.
Bridgend is located across the road adjacent to the river and has drying facilities and tackle stores.
The cottages provide a focus for Dales caving, walking and climbing activities as well as many social events. Occupied most weekends throughout the year many caving and cave digging trips start from the cottages on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
